If you love Dyson's Blade, you will love this concept dish dryer, called the Breez from a, ahem, Canadian designer, Andrew Parsons.

Storage: Spices

Inspired by Smitten Kitchen.

Smitten Kitten has all the right ingredients: small, vaguely apothecarical looking glass jars, translucent labels, and pretty inspiring photographs.
Smitten Kitchen's Shopping List:
Libbey Vibe 4.5 oz. Jars at Amazon
Avery Easy Peel Clear Return Address Labels also at Amazon. Although, I like the idea of round labels on top like these to put on the lids. Especially, since my version of this might have to place the jars in a drawer.

The Traveller's Lunchbox uses some nice looking tin boxes. I am a little skeptical about scoring the right size printer type tray though.

Canisters, Part II

This is an update.
I finally got a few of Ikea's Celebra storage jars and I'm mad to get more. They're great!
Granted, they do not have pretty pears on them but they do have wooden lids with gaskets. In this regard, they remind me of the much more ornate Hornsea ceramic canisters.
The upside is still that you can customize them like at Design Sponge. I may get around to this but for now I am smitten by their simplicity of design, wooden lids, functionality, and, it must be admitted, price.

Le Creuset

Images from Le Creuset
The age old question is whether to get the iconic flame colour or the very classic white.

Also, what size is best? Only Cookware has some ideas about this.

I have a 5.5 quart Dutch oven but I am cooking for 2...it could handle up to 4 quite easily as long as you don't have big eaters in the house. For 4 to 8 people I would go with a 7 quart or 9 quart oval French oven. Any more than this and you would probably be starting to look at the 13 quart the 15 quart oval Dutch oven.

Herbs

Prepara's Herb Savor
Great idea; not sure I entirely love the aesthetic. But it beats trying to pull this feat with a glass of water and a plastic bag! The DIY version always manages to tip over and make a boggy mess.
